Proteus® is 100% pure fluorocarbon and is almost twice as heavy as a normal mono, making it incredibly quick sinking with a remarkably high abrasion resistance. A unique Ultima post-extrusion process makes Proteus® softer and more supple than other fluorocarbons, producing an incredibly smooth, almost co-polymer-like casting performance. With its great linear and knot strength, Proteus® really is the ultimate fluorocarbon mainline.
